The life of a new Shih Tzu puppy can be extremely exciting, tricky, and scary! Check out this adorable video that showcases two new Shih Tzu puppies who take on the stairs for the very first time.
Needless to say, it was definitely scary for them considering how small they are and how big those stairs must have been to them!
As you can see in the above video, the owner of the puppies kept coaxing them down to him so that they would take one stair at a time.
The first puppy, a girl, although hesitant at first, bravely maneuvered down the stairs. Meanwhile, the male puppy, Reese, plopped down the first one, whining all the way.

The owner had to coax him down a lot more than the female dog, but you can clearly see he’s excited to get to his owner.
He does take a tumble on the third stair but recovers gently. He does end up making it all the way down the stairs with a little encouragement from Rosie, Charlotte, and Marilyn.
