5. Scan the personality
You should always call your Shih Tzu with the character he/she shares. Depending on his personality like laziness, activeness, boring or aggressiveness; it becomes an easier choice to name your dog.
And at the end, your dog must be comfortable with the name as well.
If he does not respond to his name, then you have got some serious issues. Change the name, because you need to build the excitement for him whenever someone calls his name.
No drama means your Shih Tzu doesn’t want that name.
