Caring for a Teacup or Imperial Shimizu
As with most dogs, the Imperial and Teacup Shih Tzu is prone to tangling and matting of the fur. They should be bathed and brushed frequently so their coat remains clean and healthy. They can be taken for walks, however, they have sun and heat sensitivities and can’t stay out for too long. Luckily, they do just fine playing indoors.
As explained earlier, they are prone to numerous health issues. They should be taken to a vet regularly for checkups and dental cleanings.
They are Adorable Companions
