My Last Video || SAD || Puppies are leaving to their new home

Getting a new dog is a very rewarding experience. Still, just like bringing any pet home, there’s going to be an adjustment period. And like us, our dogs love to have a routine, so being consistent in the first few are going to be an important part of helping your dog adjust.

If you’ve just received a new puppy, you can expect them to take a few days to settle in. Imagine yourself in your dog’s shoes (or paws) for a moment – enclosed by strangers in a new place where everything is unknown. Your dog may adjust within days or may take weeks.

Take it slow and make it easier for them to do so by giving them space when needed. Provide them time to settle in and get comfortable with their new surroundings. It might seem like a slow process, but it won’t take long until your adopted dog becomes your new best friend.

Each dog is different; they come with their own personalities and experiences. Your dog might be adjusting to his new home in an hour, or it might take months. Give your new dog a little patience, a steady schedule, and his own space, and he’ll start to feel settled in his new environment. Before you know it, your new dog will be your best friend.
