3. Play…a lot
Dogs are always active, unlike cats who love to laze around. So, the chances are they would want to play, all the time. Keep them occupied with toys at home when you go to work. Divert their attention from the furniture if you want to preserve it. Take them out to parks and play with them. You can play ball or let them chase butterflies.
